Police Open Ear Inserts (Earmolds) are designed for use on two-way radio acoustic tube style covert earpieces, listen only earpieces and lapel microphones. Open earmolds do not block the ear canal and are more comfortable than standard mushroom eartips when working extended shifts.

Earmolds allow for ambient sounds to enter the ear so that users are able to hear radio traffic and their surroundings at the same time. This creates a higher level of situational awareness.
